• @pax.dog they’re using things like “well you have to show your ID if you wanna buy porn at the convenience store”

thing is, that hasn’t been the medium for this type of content delivery for decades so it is a terrible analogue.

  • @om64.bsky.social been like this as long as I’ve known them

and that was since early Second Life shenanigans

    i have similar opinions 🙃

  • @dollmaidcrystal.bsky.social

  • @nyxieneon.art um, yes. 💜

  • @pax.dog i edit config files in nano :D

  • @xantw0.net Xantw0 dragon… oh my. 💜💜💜

  • @nerxualoh.bsky.social ah jeez. most of the time I wind up there, it’s dead quiet. xP some people just live to be annoying I guess.

  • @pupasmos666.bsky.social 🙃 these people know no one wants to talk to them so they wait and pounce on you when you can’t easily shrug them off

i’m sorry you had to deal with that nonsense

  • @feelingknotty.bsky.social seems like a reasonable wish for any day, honestly. >.>

  • @nyxieneon.art Such a good dog! All the pets for you! 💜💜💜

  • @pax.dog just wanna do what i can to participate and help out, since i’m stuck at work still, lol

  • @pax.dog There’s a separate elevator to get down to the Hilton’s parking deck over in the attached apartment building. If the main one is full or down, walk through the little covered breezeway and it’s on your right near the apartment building’s entrance.

  • @pax.dog Few more random things:

    • Hyatt’s stairs only go down by default. The bottommost door locks behind you (the one that takes you outside) on the stairwell nearest the front entrance.
    • You can get to the Hilton stairs through the “emergency exit” doors on the second floor. They won’t buzz (usually)
  • @pax.dog Yepyep! Doesn’t help that most of them are built several floors into the ground below street level too. x3

Another fun fact: there is an outside entrance to Trader Vic’s round the side of the Hilton from the main entrance.

  • @kauko.biosynth.link I know how frustrating figuring out the skybridges can be there. x3 Especially in a crowd.

HMU if you get lost and I might be able to help navigate ya ^^

  • @pax.dog - There is a skybridge from the food court to the parking deck next to the Hilton. There are stairs in the middle that take you down to the fenced-in surface lot.

    • Wheelchair / mobility aid users can ask the hotel for permission to use the service elevators if the main ones are full.
      2/?
  • @pax.dog - if the main food court is busy, there is a “secret” food court in the other Marquis tower (bridge between Hyatt and Marriott)

    • Hyatt International tower has its own elevators that go all the way to the valet parking lobby in the basement.
      3/?
  • @pax.dog This is a map that was drawn up by Dragon Con attendees in an attempt to explain the downtown area to out-of-town folks. There are some things specific to DC on there, but most things are generally applicable to the area. And it shows the skybridges.

  • @kauko.biosynth.link These maps were made for Dragon Con, so there’s some stuff specific to that in them. But it shows you where all the skybridges connect in the hotels and on which floors.

  • @rubberroswell.bsky.social people need to understand that it’s totally okay to have a fetish for it and enjoy displaying it in a non-sexual context. x3 At the end of the day, it’s just another clothing material ^^

but i totally have experienced what you’re talking about before. xP
